Recently Jay Boyar, writing for Orlando Life Magazine, visited one of our "Duel of Fools" shows at SAK Comedy Lab. In his article "Working Without A Net" he described his experience as "fun in a refreshing, spontaneous way". The article also outlines the style of improv comedy we do at SAK and it's intrinsic entertainment value. He differentiates us from other forms of comedy club nightlife by saying "unlike standup comedy, improv doesn’t typically rely on jokes as such. The humor arises naturally (if often surprisingly) out of the interactions among the players — and from a carefree spirit that’s experienced by audience members and performers alike."
