SAK continues its foray into scripted works by bringing you "Gutenberg! The Musical!" for two consecutive Wednesdays at 7pm (11/13 and 11/20). The Orlando Sentinel says "This 90-minute show is a clever and spontaneous look into two aspiring Broadway writers, Bud and Doug, and their antics to get a producer — any producer — to buy into their show.". Joel Warren, who stars in the show along with Chris Dinger, describes the show as "a simple concept that is incredibly difficult to execute". Both Chris and Joel are challenged by this musical to play not only the parts of the authors, who are pitching their show to the audience, but also all 23 other characters, who are each portrayed by switching differently labeled trucker hats. "Come watch the two of us sweat through 14 really fun songs and 60 pages of clever dialogue", says Chris (who also wrote this blog post and who is quoting himself). General admission is $15.
